After Ted took care of some more job-hunting business, we went out to Granville Island, a big tourist area. We had lunch and looked around for a couple hours.

Afterwards, we went back downtown to the Vancouver public library which is designed in the spirit of a Roman coliseum. The inside was pretty amazing, with cool inside passages connecting different areas of the library that were all glass. The library also had some express book checkout stations, which are kind of like the ones at grocery stores. I've seen a couple at the library in Portland, and I just think they are a really cool idea.

We did a little exploring in the underground mall at the City Centre transit area, but didn't find anything outside the normal mall-type stores. We grabbed a fast dinner at A&W then headed home to get ready to catch our early train in the morning.
