Tamara needed to study for med school (as always!), so I liberated her Monster696 and went up to Angeles Crest Highway. The lower section is closed, but some research led to the proper detour.

I had a good time. There were a couple of problems. First, I was way too cold. It never got above 70 degrees, and being at 7500 feet didn't help. Second, I need to use my Etymotic earplugs on the Monster, not the Sony plugs. The Sony plugs just don't block the wind noise, especially at elevated freeway speeds.
