No moto day. Posting by Tamara! |
We took the day off from riding since Fred wanted to get his ankle checked out at Urgent Care. We took him there in the late morning and, a couple hours later, got the a-ok from the doc. Nothing broken, just trauma to the tissue. He said it would likely take about 10 days for the swelling to subside, while the rib separation (a little blood between the cartilage and bone) could hurt for 6 weeks or so. |
Lunch was a yummy pot roast we'd been smelling all morning from the crock pot- yummy! Then, we all took a nice afternoon nap. Afterwards, Fred, Linda, & I took the cage to Snow Canyon State Park. |

Snow Canyon was pretty, with orange and white rocks. Linda and I took a short hike up one of the rock hills, but it was really windy, so we didn't stay up on top very long. |

We drove back home through Santa Clara, which had some neat angular, flat-topped homes. I thought they were pretty cool, but it isn't the typical style around here. They are more like the adobe style, but very square and more modern. |
