Team Oregon motorcycle Rider Skills Practice, 7/19/2009
After teaching my weekend class, I was curious if there was a space free in a Team Oregon Rider Skills Practice. Sure enough, there were some empty spaces, so I walked on as a student.

Sadly, when it was time to run the end-of-day evaluation, I got lost! I couldn't believe it, but I actually got lost twice- taking the barrel ride incorrectly, and also taking the curve incorrectly. It was a "harder" path than it should have been, so I was still able to compare my initial and final times.

To the family and friends who ask, "Where's the riding gear?" I wear all the gear, all the time, except when riding on the Team Oregon range. The risks are somewhat less since there is no cross-traffic, speeds are kept down, and so on.
