The flora and fauna at Tikal was as interesting as the ruins themselves. We saw amazing diversity, from the Ceiba tree, to the Coatimundi raccoon, to the Spider monkey, to birds such as the strange Montezuma Oropendola, the White-fronted Amazon parrot, the Black Vulture, the
Lineated Woodpecker, the Collared Aracari toucan, and the Keel-billed Toucan.
