Loading our DL650 onto the sailboat of flaky captain Steve Robbins of the S/V Shenanigans was intense and nerve-racking. First we basically dumped it into a lancha (down 3-4 feet from the dock), then went out and loaded it onto the sailboat, using the halyard rigging. It went fairly well, probably because we had a good amount of manpower. Still, we were all busy- Tamara manned the line and took pictures- hence the weird angle on the photos below.

Bike at the sailboat. Bike is in a sling and attached to the sailboat's mast.

Starting to raise the bike.

Raising the bike. It would eventually need to go over the chrome post, near the engine.

Ted, pulling down on the back of the bike. The center of balance wasn't correct.

The view from Tamara's post. Her job was to keep the rope (holding the bike up) from slipping.

Bike, partly strapped down.
