Panama: The Buses
Back to Wandering with Tedder & Tamara: pictures
The public buses in Panama are old school buses from the United States. They are painted, slightly different seats are added, and they run whatever route they want.
The universal price is a quarter per person. They can easily jam 50-60 people in the seats, plus another two dozen standing. They must be profitable- otherwise there probably wouldn't be as many.
