We left Baja via the ferry. It was about $180 for two passengers plus the motorcycle, and the trip took just over five hours.
The La Paz-Mazatlan ferry wasn't running, or we would have taken it- while it is more expensive and takes longer, it also cuts about four hours of riding and saves about $40 in tolls.
