Viernes de Delores is 9 days before Easter. Local families make altars to the Virgin Mary, and the community is invited to view them and take treats from the hosts.
This happens in the evening, so pictures are difficult to take. It's a neat event, though- it gives people an opportunity to express their beliefs. Some displays were very expensive and elaborate, others were simple and humble.
