These pictures are from the stretch between Mazatlan and Durango. Mazatlan is on Mexico's west coast, Durango is inland. Durango is well over 7000 feet in elevation, so there is a lot of climbing and traversal of mountains in this leg. It's a narrow road- so narrow that semi trucks must use the oncoming lane or they can't make the curves.
