While waiting to repair the DL650, we stayed in Puerto Morelos for a week. It's about 20 miles south of Cancun, in a very quiet little community. It reminded me of a scaled-down Long Beach (Washington).
We stayed at the Hotel Caracol, which was a new little hotel not small from the main square. The owners made us feel quite at home- and it was nice to have a mini-fridge and kitchen sink in our room.
